hi... the 2 port motorized valve on my heating system was passing hot water through to my upstairs radiators when the heating was turned off. I have fitted a new motor on the valve but water is still passing through to the radiators. Do I have to buy a new valve or is there something I can do to remedy it.

Sounds like the valve is seized, you should have tried moving it when you had the actuator off.
