A Window is woefully inadequate way to vent a shower, needs the fan.

I'd argue it's a fantastic way. Gap under the door + open window = powerful natural ventilation.

On EFL's point regarding bleach on mold, it is actually a brilliant way to kill it. If it's left on the mold overnight by the morning it's all gone. It might smell a bit but it kills ALL of it and can just be washed away.

Zero control , the draft can be in rather than out and fill home with moist air from bathroom or there can be little or no air flow .

Never had that happen. Open the window and the warm, moist air is out within the hour. If air is being pushed into the room from outside just block the bottom of the door.

Block door and there’s no air movement and encouraging moist air out past window leaves window dripping with condensation .

As I say, never had a problem opening a window to remove moist air.

For most this is an easy solution.
