I have a fitted wardrobe of 4 tall doors which are MDF with a thin moulded plastic wood effect covering. On one of the doors, this plastic moulding has pretty much entirely separated from the MDF and is only being held in place by the door handle and sellotape. What would be the best adhesive to use to re-attach the plastic to the MDF? I was thinking of a aerosol adhesive such as used by carpet fitters but I am concerned about using anything which could possibly melt the plastic as it is only a fraction of a mm thick.
TIA

Don't use anything with solvent in.

Clear Stixall or CT1 will stick it.
Any residue wipe off with multisolve and a rag

The problem with doors covered in a foil is the manufacturer's choice of adhesive. Most of those foils are held in place by a hot adhesive process. To refix any existing foil, peel it back using a heat gun and then scrape off any remaining adhesive by the same method. IME, Elmers Probond multi surface adhesive (a modified PVA) is ideal for carefully refixing
