Hi all,

I'm thinking of putting an offer for a property but the bathroom is in an unusual place in that it can only be accessed through one of the bedrooms. (It is a 2 bedroom house)

Here is the plan:

Can't get the img tag to work so here's the link.

Firstly, what would you do? Move it somehow so both bed's have access?
Secondly, how would you do it?
Thirdly, approximate cost of moving it?

Thanks for any advice!

It would be helpful to see the layout of the ground floor though, as if the kitchen is directly below the bathroom then the soil stack will be on that wall. I think I would leave the bathroom where it is, but build a false wall along the left side of bedroom one, creating a corridor through that room to the bathroom. Move the bathroom door left so it is at the end of the corridor and no longer directly into bedroom 1. Bedroom 1 will lose about a quarter of its size but at least the whole house can use the bathroom at night.

That's the ground floor so the kitchen is beneath it.
