Morning all,

A challenge for you. Moved into a house yesterday and it has an extensive Chubb Guardian CA364 alarm fitted 1990. It was last serviced in 2010. We are told the alarm was decommissioned and the remote control panels say call engineer.

Is there any way I can recommission it without paying for engineers? Or do I need to rip and replace with say a Honeywell G4?

Bin it and start with a new panel, you need to find out how many items/ zones you need before buying a replacement panel

Thanks Sparky. There are a number of panic alarms, door sensors and PIRs. I've also found second box upstairs that seems to be like an extension with more connections. Would a Honeywell G4 cope?
