Hi
I have recently moved into my house. In the kitchen there is the fuse box inside a large larder. It is currently mounted on the right hand side wall inside the cupboard. Im looking to removing that wall to open up the kitchen. How much of a job would it be to move the fuse box from the current wall, to approx 3ft round so it is on the back wall and up a bit higher?
Thanks

As above.
Please realise that all cables for the house end up at the fusebox.
The main feed from the meter goes there. To start with, all the cables will need to be shortened (not so difficult) or extended (quite a lot more difficult) so they can arrive at the new location. This will access to the cable runs, in the floor? above the ceiling? so there will be some decorative disruption.

Then, as Flameport says, if you have a FUSEboard you'll almost certainly need a new consumer unit that complies with current requirements.

You will need a registered electrician. get quotes from 2 or 3.
