Hi

In one of my bedrooms, someone has built a fitted wardrobe. Inside there is a double socket which I want to move so it is outside the wardrobe. trouble is the room has a laminate floor, and I don't really want to rip it up to move the cable futher along.

Can anyone think of a way around this problem.

Thanks, Dom.

junction box and trunking, and for once part P doesn't apply!

i'd say leave the existing socket in place and run a spur horizontally to the new socket (assuming the existing socket isn't itself on a spur)

and if it is a spur, replace with a blanking plate
