Evening all,
I've got a truss roof loft I would like to build a model railway in. As you can see from the attached image, the spacers between the trusses on the right are very neat, the spacers on the left are all over the shop. Is there a reason for this, and can I move them to the top of the truss (one by one!) to match those on the right?
Second question - is it safe to put either 2x4 or 6m ply strips 'on end' between the webs to support a light model railway baseboard? The total weight between any two webs and trusses will only be a few KG, less than putting up plywood shelving for storage - something akin to this: https://farnhammrc.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/FlatEarth.pdf
Any help much appreciated!
