Mower problem

We got our mower (oldish but sound, Mountfield Emporer Rotary) out yesterday.

It started straight away as normal, but then stopped. We assumed that it was out of fuel and filled it up but the proeblem persists. It starts, but then just dies out, seems like a fuel suppy problem.

Any thoughts? How do I resolve this please?

Old fuel, dirt in tank, choke stuck on, filters dirty??

I Would change the spark plug carbon builds up and it must get damp over the winter and it sparks higher up in the plug after a few minutes it stops working. I had the same problem
