My dvd player will play mpeg4 movies, will it play mpeg2.

Deluks, thanks for that. All these different formats blow my mind. Eg. ASFAIK - avi,dvix,mpeg4 are all the same thing, so why the different names? Do you know of a site that gives a complete explanation?
