multi finish thickness on ceiling

hi. my builders have plasterboarded and skimmed my ceiling rsj bent. they say they can even out the bent by multi finish. it already has 2 coats of skim on it. whats the maximum thickness of skim that is acceptable?

Multi Finish is no good for straightening. You need Bonding Coat plaster.
