Are these any good made by Mx?

Think a few different companies makes this tap/shower so reviews are terrible some.of the more pricer was are good. Is MX a good make?

Toolstation were remaindering these (or very similar) before Christmas, maybe not a good sign. Nice idea if they work properly.....

Bar shower mixers are, for some reason, particularly troublesome, unreliable and short-lived.

A bath filler does not need a thermostat.

Indeed not, but to me (if it worked) it gives you the luxury of a temperature regulated shower without all the work of burying the pipework. The downside might be a slower filling bath, but according to the spec on the Toolstation one it would still run 24l/min at 3 bar.
