Hi, My bathoom extractor and kitchen one both just have slat type grilles,
I'm wondering if they really should have those flap things on the ends ?
Maybe the moisture is blowing back into the rest of the flat from the shower?

Or maybe just a downward facing cowl ?

They have square ducting.
I've seen an in-line one for around a tenner , maybe that would be better in some way ?
Thanks

The flat tends to be damp, probably not just due to this but I thought it may be making it worse

I recommend the cowl vents

keeps rain out and gives the flap some protection from wind gusts.

brown tones with brickwork, but you can paint them if you want. Spirit-based non drip gloss.
