My flat smells!

Hello, I've been on holiday recently and when I came back to my flat I noticed there's a musty smell coming from a couple of the rooms. What's the best way of getting rid of this?

open windows doors as you've been away its had no air running through.
These hot days bring out all sorts of smells from carpets and upholstery that may have had spills.

chop up some lemons into slices and leave them on plates in the rooms they will lift any smells and they will scent the rooms for you and it is cheaper than air freshners, ( gets rid of the smell of paint as well )
