My kingdom for a decent bath waste!

Is it really so hard to manufacture a decent bath waste?? Just tried to fit a Mcalpine to discover the bag was missing it's screw.... Prob a good thing cos the fitting is obviously total ****e.... Plastic thread bound to strip/fail....

Anyone reccomend a decent one? Plug and chain type with overflow......

Buy an expensive, strong looking chain with a genuine rubber plug.
Some wont need a new overflow, the chain can connect to the overflow plate, but it depends on what the present set-up is - & if access might be a problem ie W&O's are best situated at the head of the bath?

It's a new bath I'm fitting.... Happy to spend a few quid for a decent waste with plug and chain, just can't actually find one!

Look for Bristan luxury bath waste pricey but heavy chrome on brass waste plug and chain.
