My shower goes from hot to cold??

I'm a newbie here so be gentle lads. Steam shower only running cold. Combi boiler fitted so I'm replacing the thermostatic cartridge which has only been in a year. Although it may be the PEV, I haven't seen one....any thoughts?
Hi I actually sorted my shower out last night I was on the net and come across something and when I look at my shower where the hose connects to the mixer I had a flow restricter on it I took it off and it now works brill and the shower is a little more powerful thanks for all the help guys
