i have a ken 70 series and it wont spin and in wash mode it barely washes and it make a weird sound like its not catching and answers out there.

i have a ken 70 series and it wont spin and in wash mode it barely washes and it make a weird sound like its not catching and answers out there.
A ken (assuming kenmore) from america I would assume was a top loader
This forum deal with european machines (mainly UK) which are predominantly front loaders and very different in the mechanical parts.
The little I know of these type machines (whirlpool) are they have a drive coupling between the motor and gear box that wears out (pins on one side of coupling and sockets on the other for want of a better description)
