My Worcester 28CDI works ok on central heating but when i turn the hot tap on it fails to ignite & heat water?

90%+ likely to be the diaphragm. Most engineers dislike the job of fitting a new one as it does involve a fair bit of component removal to gain access to the housing. Parts are cheap, but the labour will mount up. A diyer will struggle to do this and is best left to a pro. I have done one in an hour, but it can take a lot longer.
