myson airjec II

My microbore C/H system sucks air and stops.
There is a Myson Airjec II fitted to pipework in the loft.
Does anyone know how they are supposed to work and which way round they should be fitted. ?

Airjecs have a nasty habit of blocking up with magnetite which is one of the things they are meant to stop and most people look and think it has an air sep it must be ok..
