Myson Boiler keeps starting and stopping

Hello

Myson Orion boiler starts to heat up water, keeps going for approx 2 mins then stops for a bit (3.5mins) and starts again.

This is taking ages to heat the water up. Is this normal? I am sure I would have noticed this before.

I have bled the water system but not the rads, would this help? I am
wondering if its worth asking an engineer to come have a look.

check the pump is running

Sounds like the pump is running ok.

sounds like the pump is running ok. As I say the water heats up its more the time its taking and the boiler switching on and off.

if its an open vented system check the header tank
