myson trvs

hi i recently moved into a new house. the radiators all work so that no the issue. they have myson trvs attached. there is a scale in roman numerals firstly starting with a clear circle then i,ii,iii followed by another iii and then a dark circle. i guessing iii is the hottest setting but what does the dark circle represent?
any ideas?

Clear circle = fully closed, Full circle = fully open
