can anyone tell me what NAECI stands for? got a text for work today saying the pay was naeci rates.

I take it you usually work under JIB conditions? If you do, and you start working on a NAECI site, keep an eye on what's happening with your holiday stamps. I'm not going to go into the story, it's too long, but jumping from JIB to NAECI and back can create problems, as they pay your holiday stamps differently. Long story short, I had to take my company to a Tribunal to get my weeks pay at christmas. To be fair, it only took a year to get it.
