Nail Glue on a Patch

Sigh...was attempting to sew a fabric patch on a leather vest...machine went boom...in a rush, I used nail glue on the patch and stuck it on...now the patch has several discolored, hard spots...must get them out...very expensive patch...any ideas??? Please

it's always worth contacting the glue manufacturer. They probably have a contact phone no on the packaging. They must be asked similar questions all the time.
