just wondering what I should use to repair the odd places where my new plaster has been damaged by other building work, the odd nail pop and one line above a window where the ceiling had to be taken out to solve a problem with the window and the new 10inches of skim wasn't well feathered into the existing ceiling?

Polyfilla seems more convenient, but easifill seems more "correct" ..

I always use the boxes of powdered fillers like toupret or own brands, cheap and sands perfectly like easyfil but you don't need to buy a big bag. Also use red devil on the ceiling nail pops which you can get spot on without needing to sand with a bit of practice.
Never touch polyfilla but might be OK.
