Skim Coat - Walls meet Ceiling

Looks like a good effert to be fair, you should always cross trowel towel a wall or ceiling to make sure its flat , i would go with what you have there is nothing to say that if you reskim it you wont make a better job or its going to be any straighter,

you can either wait for it to dry and sand it back lightly or feather it in with multifinish after sealing the area.
I never water pva down , but I know most plasterers and pva manufacturers recommend it . your choice


Thanks for that. I'll experiment with both ways and see which way works out most workable for me.
