Nailing Floorboards

Does anyone know if you can get lost head ring shank nails to use for discreetly securing old floorboards? I can only find ones with a big head (annular?) Or have any other ideas?

I am lifting several boards throughout the flat to put services and insulation in, many of the existing boards are also loose and squeaky. I intend to sand the floor so I would rather avoid screws except where the boards are really bad but I want the boards secured as well as possible.

just find a local hire company and youre sorted
