Need help replacing a GU10 socket

I was trying to replace a GU10 light bulb.
Carefully I pulled out and the socket came out.

See pic:

How can I replace?

I looked on youtube... not many videos.
I thought I'd get some guidance on here before trying anything.

You need to change the lampholder, plenty of videos on youtube.

Should have twisted lamp first.

I've changed loooads of bulbs. I did twist, I didn't just yank out.

I've seen on Amazon just the sockets for sale.
Could I just replace the socket?

Yes you could. But first examine how the socket is attached to the fitting. Often it is A couple of tiny rivets.

If you're reinstalling a halogen light be sure that the replacement socket has wires that will cope with the incredibly high temperature. Typically the wires feel like cured silicone or has a sheath that feels the same. If they're just ordinary PVC it'll melt off within a short time

@OM2 looking again at your photo. It looks like there are parts of the downlight attached somehow to the old bulb.
If so, maybe you’ll need a whole new downlight?
