I am looking to replace my GU10 halogen bulbs which are 50w with LED white bulbs. Does anyone know a good place to buy these bulbs from, came across one website which was offering a 5yr warranty which if the bulb became faulty they would replace

Grateful for advice

you can't go wrong with Philips LED lamps, have had 70 odd of the 12v MR16's running 24/7 for the best part of 18 months, not one failure as yet.

do you know where i can buy these from / where did you purchase yours. Mine are mains gu10

Yea I've got Philips GU10's in my house but I've got the 'consumer' version, which are 2700K (warm white) and only 4w which is supposedly 30W.

The 7W philips masters are VERY bright. I originally had those and they were like the sun, so I toned down to the 4W.

You can get them from

http://www.laukgroup.com/lighting-products/lamp/led-lighting/

I would personally go with

http://www.laukgroup.com/lighting-products/lamp/led-lighting/master-ledspotmv-d-4-35w-gu10-wh-40d/ only the equivelant of 35W but I think you'll find with being a 40D beam angle you will be fine

And of course, you can get them from elsewhere and possibly cheaper but I personally love LAUK

And they won't be dimmable with your existing dimmer(s), if you have them that is.
