need new feed!

evening all.
looking for a littel advice please.

coming to connect the shower up in our extension i have done. got a mixer pump feeding the shower. already have the hot feed into the pump. now just need the cold.
do i just 'T' into a existing copper feed in the loft coming from the loft tank?

You need a separate feed from the tank. -Ideally under the level that the feed to the hot cylinder comes out . So that if the tank runs dry -The hot runs out first :idea:

i presume that means drilling a hole in the tank.
can you get kits for making a new feed in the tank, like seals etc

Yes, drill hole with correct size holesaw . You could use plastic pipe :idea: And you`ll need a "tank connector" fitting plus the other bits etc. Comes ready with seals -the plastic push fit one does. Copper one you need 2 plastic washers (one each side of tank wall) and some ptfe tape wrapped round the thread of the connector.
