I have this new light fitting.

It is two, 2 way tungsten dimmers on one plate

1 2

C C
L2 L2
L1 L1

Comming out of my wall i have a
Red Wire
Blue Wire
Yellow Wire
and Earth

Can someone in simple terms explain to me what needs to go where..

Thanks

How was/is the original switch connected up.Have you read the instructions - that can sometimes help!

I have read the instrutions. As these units come as indervidual units the instructions only refur to single units and dont take into account 3 core & Earth wiring.

The original unit came off some time ago due to plastering etc.. If i could remember how it came off i wouldnt be asking for help..

Any ideas..

How to win friends and influence people

At an educated guess I would say Red to C then link a piece of red from that C to the other C.Then yellow to L1 and blue to the other L1.

Are the two lights one-way ?

There are two seprate lights

There is only one switch for each light if thats what you mean.

Oh right. I was just a bit confused when you said 2-way dimmers. What Sarah said then
