need to replace Triton Opal 1 electric shower, need same spec for fitting, any recommendations?

Triton easi fit Are a good retro fit for most instantaneous electric showers.

What kilowatt rating is it 8.5 ?
The cables neutral appears to have damaged insulation ?
Triton easi fit models water inlet will accept bottom right connection ,as yours is ,and the wiring can connect right hand side too. So on face value would appear to be a suitable replacement. Is your opal 1 no longer produced , obviously that would be your first choice ?
