neff slim line integrated dishwasher - door won't stay open

I have just installed the above and have fitted the cover door.

My problem is the the door will not stay open. There are two adjusting screws at the bottom of the door that adjust the tension but whatever I do seems to make no difference, completely out or screwed in tight.

Am I missing something or doing something daft?
