Neighbours Fencing

In need of assistance/opinions if poss! Neighbour has made a 'right 2 & 8' of fencing they have put up. considering putting something up right to give us both privacy and soemthing reasonable for us to look at instead of the back of theres! is it practical to concreate posts in directly next to theres and put up our own or is it an epic to do this? Apologies if its a silly question but it currently looks a right mess!

Yes it's possible, might be easier if you offset them though.

I thought about off-setting them but also thought about approaching my neighbour and asking if he's happy for me to replace the panels but the other thing is his posts are uneven, lob-sided, not straight, etc! Not being picky but it just doesnt look right! Can't post pics just at mo but will try to do so later on.
