Is the Vaillant a combi? Is the Neomitis a dual channel receiver?

Thanks for reply yeah vaillant is a combi and receiver is a single receiver
Any reason you’ve bought a Hive dual channel (mains voltage) then? Neomitis will likely be volt free, so could be 24v from the Vaillant.

Didnt realise till i ordered it would it be best sending it back and getting hive just for heating or could it still be fitted ?

would it be best sending it back
That’s up to you based on the following
and getting hive just for heating or could it still be fitted ?
Can be fitted, but wiring alterations are required at receiver and the boiler. If you had a single channel wiring alterations are done at the receiver only.

Would that work ? Or would it be best just sending back and getting single channel?

I have the single channel receiver now would the wires go exactly the same way as my old one
No, iirc the Neomitis has 3 as common and 4 as NO (should be printed on the rear) on the Hive 1 is common and 3 is NO. So would be Black to 1 and Grey to 3. Obviously L and N would be the same.
