Neptune Solo 8.5Kw shower not getting power

Hi

this was already installed when we bought the house about 5 years ago , worked fine until the other day . Shower suddenly won't turn on with no light showing on the unit .

The neon light on the DP pull switch is lit so must be getting power from the CU .

I have checked the DP switch and can't see any obvious signs of shorting or burning and the same with the shower unit itself , no blackened wires or corrosion that I can see .

Any idea what the problem could be ?

have you used a meter to actualy check the supply?

No , haven't used a meter yet , need to get it back from the mate I lent it to about 6 months ago !

Just received more info from the wife who was showering at the time it stopped working , she says there was a fairly loud click from the shower unit itself and the water just stopped .
