Hello,

I’ve just got hold of a 3rd gen Nest. Everything is set to go, I’ve got to the wiring stage and I’m a bit unsure... Can anyone provide some guidance?

I have a Baxi Combi 105e.

I won’t be using the T1 and the T2 on the heat link as it’ll be done over the Wi-Fi. And the OT1 and OT2 obviously are redundant.

I really would appreciate some guidance as i’m not 100% sure. I have done a trawl on the net and YouTube.

I’ve attached a picture of both connections from the relative manual.

Thanks in advance.

Chris.

1&2 from boiler to 2&3 on nest, doesnt matter which way round they go, and live and neutral from the boiler to L&N on the nest

Hi Ianmcd,

Thanks for that. Thought it would be simple, just wasn’t 100%

So can the nest not control the hot water on/off?

Thanks for responding.

Chris.

not on a combi it cant the HW is activated when you open a hot water tap the boiler senses this and heats the water instantaniously

Hi,
One last question/observation does it matter that the 1 from boiler is carrying a voltage? The manual suggests 230v?
Cheers...
