Hi,

Sorry, I know this has been asked before, but I just want to confirm my thoughts before I make any changes....

I've just bought a Drayton Wiser for a Conventional boiler (2 channel heating/water). I was hoping the wiring would be a simple like for like change, however having just opened up the Nest (which was installed by Gas engineer), I'm now slightly unsure how I should be wiring up the Drayton. L/N are straight forward, but the common/satisfied don't appear to exist on the Drayton.

Am I correct with the following?

L to LN to N
Terminal 3 on the Nest (Yellow) goes to terminal 4 on the Wiser
Terminal 6 on the Nest (Red) goes to terminal 3 on the Wiser

The existing bridging wires between L/1/5 on the Nest are removed.

The brown link wires are not required with the wiser, the link is internal. So yes 3 to 4 and 6 to 3 and 4 to 4.
I will assume Y Plan as wire in number 4.
Also if used OT1 and OT2 will go to the module

on the Wiser.

Yes,
And the blue wire in terminal 4 of Nest goes into terminal 1 of the wiser.

This (together with the red and yellow wires) should be oversleeved brown to avoid any disasters - Don't mix it up with a neutral!

but the common/satisfied don't appear to exist on the Drayton.
The commons are fed internally in the Drayton from the live. And satisfied on Nest = Off on the Drayton :)
