netaheat 16-22 blowing pcb fuse

boiler started then stopped within seconds, a quick look found a blown 1a fuse on the pcb, replaced the fuse but if i switch the boiler on, there is a few seconds delay then a noise as the fan starts and the pcb starts to smoke! anyone know what the problem is?

Do you mean the fan is noisy and sticking? This could blow fuse.

If your pcb is smoking then I think its time to replace it :cry:
 
the fan seemed to be running ok but looking pretty old so just replaced it. when I switch on the heating the fan starts up ok but thats it, nothing else happens... except after about 15 secs 'R16' on the pcb starts to smoke.
