My mates cleaning out his garden to make it presentable for people to come and view his home. The soil at the far end is apparently so fertile and ideal that he has stinging nettles that closely resemble a corn field.

what is the best way to clear them away?
 
Harvest them first for nettle soup, then a glyco-phosphate week killer is best. As said sign of good soil :D
 
Nah, it's lovely. (the boiling process takes the sting out of them, really it's nice, but BEFORE you nuke 'em with weedkiller :lol:)
 
My other half was watching come dine with me last night and one of the contestants made stinging nettle pims....
perhaps my mate could sell his nettles to a drinks company, make some extra cash
