I have broadband coming into the house from the BT master and it terminates in a BT hub 5 in my study.
There is cat5e data cable in all rooms that go to a patch plate then onto a TP-link desktop switch.
I have connected from one of the four "yellow" ethernet connections on the hub to my study data cable.
Because this is connected via the patch plate then switch to the other cables does it give me broadband in all the rooms?
I hope this makes sense.
Thanks again

Basically you want a cable from the BT router connected to the switch and then all other rooms also connected to the switch and you're done.
