Hi All. Can anyone here tell me how to get air out of a Dunsley Baker Neutralizer. While working on a rad recently, it seems I allowed the header tank to run dry and air has been sucked into the neutralizer . The heating upstairs works but downstairs does not, the hot water heats up fine in the Immersion tank using the heating and coal fire back boiler, but when the heating pumps are running i can hear water pouring through the neutralizer like a mini waterfall. Should i backfill the system from downstairs to push air out through the header tank or somehow try and bleed the Neutralizer. there is a large bung on top of the Neutralizer, same size as all the pipe connections but no bleeder at all.
