A while ago I fitted a new part 2 ball valve to the CWSC, (shutting off the rising main) Because the F&E is fed from cwsc, how would I go about fitting the same to the F&E tank? Thanks in advance.

Thanks, StevenJames, when I say the cwsc feeds the F&E, I meant the Rising main feeds the cwsc, but then the pipe 'T's of to the inlet on F&E.

so the F&E is fed from the mains supply?

turn off the incoming stop cock then. It will not take long to swap the valve. You can usually leave the stem in place, undo the large nut and replace the working parts as a sub-assembly.

edit

sorry too slow
