Hello

I am fitting out a new bathroom on the 1st floor moving downstairs bathroom to the upstairs. The HWC will be located in the bathroom (cupboard)which is fed by a system boiler in the cellar. There was no cold water storage tank in the roof. In the bathroom will be a bath, shower, basin & toilet. I was going to feed the toilet, basin and bath with mains fed cold water and position a cw feed tank in the roof to feed the shower separately. Then I was going to feed the shower HW & CW supply via a pump in the cupboard to get the pressure.

Is this a feasible solution? What other components would I require? I have heard of such things as essex valves but need more explanation. Is there a good dual pump for the cw & hw supplies to the shower.

The HWC will be on the same level as the bath & basin is there enough 'head' to get flow to these from the HWC?

If there is an easier solution much appreciated if someone could help.

Regards
