Hi everyone, the bathroom in my flat is going to be completely replaced including taking out the old water cylinder which heats up the water and installing an electric shower.
The old system is terrible (more thn 20 years old) no matter how long I keep the hot water button on for (expensive to run) when I begin running the hot water it gets cold quick and I was told last week it needs to be replaced.

My question is how long would it normally take to gut out the entire bathroom including the hot water cyclinder, then I am assuming an electric combi system would be put in, new pipes and a new suite.
Another question is I think new radiators will also be put in as the entire heating system needs to be upgraded. I don't have gas in the flat only electric so before work gets carried out I would appreciate info on the timescale and any other advice which would be useful thank you.

Who is specifying the new installation?
What is heating your flat currently?

Via the agency a local company who specialise in bathroom installations are going to undertake the work, although I am not sure how many people that will include. There are temporary electric radiators in the flat right now but I was told they will be replaced along with the bathroom.
