We are having our bathroom done shortly and are on the look out for some new taps, but i'm a bit unsure on the whole pressure thing. I have read that for every metre that the taps are below the water tank this provides 0.1 bar of pressure. however we have a water tank in the airing cupboard and one in the loft so i'm unsure which tank to base the measurement on. can anyone help please??

The cold water storage cistern pressurises the hot water cylinder, so it is the cold (attic) one that matters.

You will need low pressure taps.
