Next project will be the bathroom. Its small, with a bath with an electric shower over it.

The main wall above the bath is lath & plaster, and so when we take the old tiles off, there will likely be little left of the old wall (its a 1900s house).

We were looking at a panel for this wall, rather than tiles. And tiles for the rest of the bathroom.

We have spoken with a couple of bathroom companies who say plastboard would be fine to use behind such panels. Is this the case?

Also, how would you connect the bath to the wall? Both suggested using their brackets, but a certain youtuber that is popular here says to baten the wall for extra support if to be used for a shower.

Also, what are the best make(s) for electric showers? Currently have a 10.5kw shower with 6mm2 cable. Would we have to re-wire it with a 10mm2 cable to have another 10.5kw shower?
