I've just bough a new Baxi fan for my engineer to fit to a Baxi Solo 2PF boiler but when I opened the box, the fan was stuck. It's sprung loaded but the impeller is fouling on the underside of the top part of the housing so can't really turn as the spring is pushing it too far upwards. There doesn't seem to be any way adjusting it either & I assume that it shouldn't need any adjustment anyway or have I missed something?

I've not been able to get hold of my guy today so thought I'd ask here to make sure I'm not going mad.

Any thoughts much appreciated.

Thanks Ian, I thought that was the case. All sorted with the supplier now who was really helpful & professional, fans are not the most robust items to courier it seems!

Ebay indeed! :p

I have to say that most Ebay sellers are a lot better at supplying replacements than most merchants and spares suppliers, some spares suppliers make you jump through hoops if you take stuff back, probably because you can leave a bad comment
