New boiler & pump runs contiuously

Hi there
after some advice, I had a new boiler fitted 6 months ago, Glow Worm 15HXI, they also fitted a new 3 port valve, I have only just realised that the external pump appears to run continuously whilst the system is on, when the time clock switches off, so does the pump. is it normal for the pump to run at all times whilst the programmer is on?

If the thermostats are calling then yes.

That's the thing, I don't think they are, tank stat is set at 50, the room stat isn't calling, and the boiler stat is set at 75. So I would have guessed the tank would be at temp after not running any HW for a couple of hours????

Set the control on the right to 0. Switch the timer on for heating or hot water. If the pump runs, then incorrect as pump should be controlled by the boiler.

Am sure I will be corrected if I am wrong.
