Hi

I had a new grant votex boiler installed with a magnetic filter and hive system.

My heating has 5/6 rads off 15mm and 12 rads off 8mm pipe work, old house.

The system was drained several times and now some of the 8mm rads will only heat luke warm but pipes running to rads are boiling.

Due to the 70% of the heating system being 8mm plumber would not power flush in case of leaks.

Would you take the luke warm rads off and flush using a hose or what other options would there be.

I agreed with him but was asking would best option to remove rads and flush each rad?

Yes you can, and it's a good idea to.

does 8mm come off manifolds or off 15/22mm legs

Original heating system is 22mm with 8mm of it.

The 15mm has been added on the 22mm before I bought house and I have since added 3 rads to the 15mm feed
