We currently have a Glowworm freestanding 40/52 boiler which is very old and we are looking to replace it. We are looking to change to a combi - can anyone recommend the most reliable type of boiler to put in and any in particular to avoid.

Cheers

people have preferences on here like anywhere else. one can only recomend a good appliance by way of time tested.most combis are fairly new designs , so therefore its hard to say whether a cheap or expensive combi of similar outputs is any better or worse.

Where is it?..where would you like it?...Worcester in my opinion..avoid unregistered Cowboys..Before entertaining a price ensure you see credentials. If unsure ring Corgi to verify. Ensure you look up Corgi`s details before employing strange workmen. ( do you want jam on it)!

Asure sign they are corgi registered, is they won't be able to show you a corgi card because corgi do their level best not to send them out.
